Cuisle Cancer Support Centre Embraces Reiki

It is lovely to come across a Cancer Support Centre that offers a holistic approach to newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families.

The Cuisle Cancer Support Centre in Portlaoise is without doubt a wonderful place. It has both a structured and informal approach to a person's care.

Asides from counseling, Reiki, Reflexology and Acupuncture are available.

Treatments are free of charge.

I was impressed by the fact that family members affected by their loved ones condition can also avail of holistic therapies at Cuisle.

Cathriona Dempsey, the Manager/Nurse relayed to me some positive feedback people give as a result of visiting Cuisle. A sense of inner peace and deep relaxation were two of the benefits mentioned.

Founded in 2003, the Cuisle Centre is a registered charity. It has received some funding from the National Lottery but otherwise is funded by voluntary donations.
