Relief from migraine headaches

I have suffered from migraine headaches since I was nine years old. My symptoms would start with loss of sight, sometimes loss of speech and then a severe headache. Bright lights and sound would irritate me and I would also feel nauseous.

Over the last three to four years it steadily became worse. I was lucky if I was free from a headache for one or two days.

It was around this time that I watched a programme on T.V about Reiki and also read about Reiki workshops in my local newspaper. I would have tried anything at this stage. I was only getting through the week on painkillers and I just could not take much more.

I attended a Reiki 1 workshop and have been practising Reiki on myself since. I have not looked back. I am much more relaxed and I feel so much better in myself. I no longer take painkillers. I only get a migraine once or twice a month now. When I get an attack, I do Reiki and the headache just goes away.

What did I ever do without Reiki. I dread to think how I would have coped without it.
