What is hypnosis?
The
practice of hypnosis has been around for hundreds of years and is widely used
today. Hypnosis is a process which produces relaxation, distraction of the conscious
mind, heightened suggestibility and increased awareness, allowing access to
the subconscious mind through the imagination. It also produces the ability
to experience thoughts and images as real.

Can Change Old Habits and Belief Systems
The
mind has the capacity for change. We can change current belief systems and behaviors.
We require a passion for change and an expectation for new realities if this
is to happen. The body is a robot acting and performing on command. We can reprogramme
ourselves.
What
is Self Hypnosis?
Everyone
can learn simple techniques to bring the mind into a relaxed and focused state.
Once there, it is possible for you to give the mind suggestions of things you
desire in your life. These must be realistic. For example if you have never
played golf, it is unlikely that you will beat Tiger Woods in the near future.
What
can I use Self-Hypnosis for?
Self Hypnosis is directed by you. What self hypnosis does for you depends
largely on what you want it to do.
You are the programmer, giving suggestions to your subconscious mind.
You have to decide for yourself what is it that you would like
to change in your life. Perhaps it is a habit, an emotion or a physical challenge.
Habits include smoking, under or over eating,
nail biting, procrastination, laziness, thumb sucking, TV addiction
to name but a few.
Emotions
include anxiety, shyness, sadness, anger, guilt, fears and phobias.
Physical
challenges could include allergies, insomnia, pain and so forth.
Not
only can you work on mastering specific physical and emotional challenges. You
can also focus on new realties that you would like to unfold in your life. For
example you could focus on having joy in your life on a daily basis. What about
inviting abundance and unconditional love into your life. It is all possible.
