An overview of the Reiki Journey

Angela Gorman is committed to high standards of Reiki Teaching and Reiki Practice

The first three levels of Reiki training with Angela are each held over a weekend. The final level of Reiki training, the Reiki teacher/ Reiki Master Level is taught over six months on a part time basis. Each Reiki course taught by Angela more than meets the guidelines of Reiki set out by Reiki Federation Ireland.

Reiki CourseReiki 1 Workshop in Dublin

The first degree of Reiki, is taught over two days. At this Reiki course you learn how to give yourself Reiki and are shown how you could share Reiki with friends and family.

Reiki Class first day outline:

  • The history of Reiki
  • The benefits of Reiki
  • The scientific basis for energy therapies
  • The difference between Reiki treatments and Reiki courses.
  • The chakras and endocrine system are outlined.
  • Reiki healing potentials

On the afternoon of day one, the group is shown how to do self Reiki treatments following the Reiki 1 attunement.

  • Frequently asked questions about Reiki
  • Using Reiki on animals and plants
  • Reiki healing in hospitals
  • Other uses for Reiki
  • Reiki Chair treatments

Reiki CourseReiki 2 Course in Dublin – 2nd Degree of Reiki Training

This Reiki Class is taught over two days. At this Reiki second degree you are introduced to three traditional Reiki symbols.

Reiki Class first day outline:

  • Review of what was covered at your Reiki 1 class
  • A deeper understanding of the chakra and endocrine systems
  • Introduction to the three Reiki two traditional Reiki symbols
  • Reiki Level Two attunement

Reiki Class second day outline:

  • Reiki chair treatments and Reiki table treatments
  • Using the Reiki symbols during the treatments
  • Reiki Healing
  • Distant Reiki healing

Reiki CourseAdvanced Practitioner Reiki Class in Dublin

This Reiki class brings your understanding of Reiki to a much deeper level. Asides from learning more about yourself and Reiki, these Reiki classes prepare people who are planning on doing Reiki professionally.

Reiki Class first day outline:

  • Sharing experiences about Reiki since your Reiki 2 course
  • The relationship between our mind and our physical health
  • How our thoughts influence the flow of energy
  • The science of how Reiki healing restores balance to our health
  • You will be attuned to the Advanced Practitioner level of Reiki training
  • You will be introduced to three more Reiki symbols

Reiki Class second day outline:

  • Preparing for the professional road
  • Marketing tips and how to get started with a Reiki practice
  • Guidelines on how to deal with Reiki clients are outlined
  • The importance of malpractice insurance and the importance of having a first aid course are highlighted
  • How to fill out Reiki consultation forms
  • Reiki chair and Reiki table treatments

Reiki CourseReiki 3 – Attunement to the Reiki Master Symbol
 – Weekend Workshop

This Reiki course is designed for people who wish to have the Reiki Master Symbol for their own use. 
Following the Reiki course you will be able to use the Reiki Master symbol on yourself and on your Reiki clients.

* As per Reiki Federation Ireland guidelines, you will not be able to teach Reiki or attune others to Reiki following this course.

If you do wish to learn how to atttune other people to Reiki and how to teach Reiki classes, Angela offers a six month part time Reiki Master/teacher training programme instead of this course.

People who participate in Angela’s six month Reiki Master/Teacher training programme do not have to do this Reiki 3 weekend course.

The Reiki 3 weekend will include:

  • Deepening your understandings of Reiki
  • Reiki attunement to the Reiki Master symbol
  • Reiki Master Symbol Meditation
  • Reiki treatments using the Reiki Master symbol

As per Reiki Federation Guidelines:

  • You will NOT be shown how to attune other people to Reiki after this weekend course.
  • You will NOT be qualified to teach Reiki following this course.

Your Reiki certificate will say that you have received the necessary practice, theory and attunements to complete Reiki Level 3. 
Further training needed for Reiki Master/Teacher Level.

Since completing the Reiki 1 workshop with Angela, positive glimpses of talents and gifts of mine have surfaced.
I used to be a singer, but lost the confidence to sing over ten years ago. Since doing Reiki 1, I have sung in public and have no problem with this anymore.

I have been writing for over 30 years, short stories, poetry and monologues. However, I had not shown my work to anyone. Now I’m preparing poetry for an exhibition and have begun to contact publishers. I have been invited to do readings at a festival in May and have agreed to that also.
